  • Release 1.24 - POS Terminal Workflow Improvements

An update to Bluestore Live will be released on Monday 24th April between 4am and 6am UK time. The enterprise console will be unavailable during this time but POS terminals will continue to function normally.

We've made a number of workflow tweaks to streamline the process of capturing a sale. All of the new options below are preference settings which can be turned on as required.

Here's the full list of changes:

    - Option to bypass credit card amount pop-up

    - Option to bypass 'change / ok' dialogue if change is zero

    - Option to suppress printing of Yespay customer receipt

    - Option to bypass cash amount pop-up

    - Fix for transaction tax class problem

    - Other internal improvements

As with all new releases, we recommend testing before applying the update in your live stores. Your individual enterprise data can have a bearing on how the system functions so it is important to test first - we don't charge for the creation of a test store on your account as we prefer you to ensure the update goes smoothly and without impact to your live stores.

If any issues occur or you have any comments about the new functions, please create a support ticket at support.bluefishretail.com

We appreciate any feedback or feature requests so do please get in touch!

  • Bluestore POS for iPad

After a great deal of development, Bluestore POS for iPad is now available for download from the app store.

We've kept the app free as we really see it as an extension to the functionality of your monthly Bluestore Live subscription. Perfect for tradeshows and events, this lighter weight version of Bluestore allows you to sell on the go whilst still maintaining the cumulative data in your main admin console.

If you've already got an enterprise up and running, you'll enter the same credentials as you use for your cloud-based admin console. You're then free to choose which store and you'd like to connect to and which terminal you want to use. It's a good idea to set up a specific terminal for your iPad so you can differentiate between sales in your transaction report.

If you don't have an existing enterprise then you can sign up for a free trial here https://www.bluefishretail.com/try-bluestore-live-for-free.html.

You'll receive login details to get started on the hardware in your store, and you can then use those same credentials to try out the iPad app.

We're keen to hear from existing and new customers , so let us know what you think!
